Multi Stitch Granny
Makes 8" Square . This square is made up of many different stitches and techniques. I tried to use a different one for each round, and this is how it looks! Hope you have fun with it, and it inspires you to do something just like this!  
Materials:
H Hook
4 different colors of worsted weight yarn: CA, CB, CC, CD

Special Stitches:
Beg Cluster: ch 3, (yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull thru 2 loops) 3 times, yo pull thru 4 loops on hook
Cluster: (yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull thru 2 loops) 4 times, yo pull thru 5 loops on hook
V-Stitch: dc, ch 2, dc in space indicated
LDC: Long DC, dc in the space indicated in the row below one you are working on.

 
with CA, Ch 4, join to form a loop
Round 1: Ch 1, 12 sc in loop, join to 1st sc.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in each sc around (12), finish off CA

Round 3: Cluster St: Join CB to any sc, beg cluster in same st as joining, ch 3, (Cluster in next sc, ch 3) 11 times, (makes 12 clusters), join to top of 1st cluster, finish off CB

Round 4: SC around: join CA to any cluster, ch 1, sc in cluster, 2sc in next loop, (sc in next cluster, 2sc in next loop) around, join to 1st sc.

Round 5: Make a circle a square: ch 4, (dc, ch 1) 3 times in sm st as joining, [*skip next sc, hdc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, hdc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc*, (dc, ch 1) 4 times in next sc (corner made)] 3 times and * to * once more, join to 3rd ch of beg ch 4. Finish off CA.

NOTE: Corner ch 1 sp is the middle sp of the (dc, ch1) 4 times corner.
Round 6: V-Stitch: join CC to any corner ch 1 sp, ch 4, (dc, ch 1) 3 times in same sp as joining, [*V-Stitch in next ch 1 sp, skip 2 st, dc in next 2 st, V-Stitch in next ch 1 sp, ch 1* (dc, ch 1) 4 times in next corner ch 1 sp] 3 times and * to * once. Join to 3rd ch of beg ch 4. Finish Off CC

Round 7: Granny Square Stitch: join CA to any corner ch 1 sp, ch 4, (dc, ch 1) 3 times in same sp as joining,[*3 dc in next sp, ch 1, skip next V-Stitch, 3 dc between V-stitch and next dc, ch 1, 3 dc between next dc and V-Stitch, ch 1 (you will not work a st in either dc), skip next V-Stitch, 3 dc in next sp, ch 1*, (dc, ch1) 4 times in next corner ch 1 sp] 3 times and * to * once more, join to 3rd ch of beg ch 4. Finish off CA.

Round 8: LDC: join CD to any corner ch 1 sp, ch 1 [3 sc in corner ch 1 sp, sc in next dc, sp, and dc, LDC in next sp of corner on round 6, sc in next 3 dc, LDC in next V-Stitch sp on round 6, sc in next 3 dc, LDC between 2 dc of round 6 (again not working in the dc), sc in next 3 dc, LDC in next V-Stitch sp of round 6, sc in next 3 dc, LDC in next sp of corner on round 6, sc in next dc, sp, and dc] 4 times, join to 1st sc. Finish off CD.

Round 9: DC, CH 1, SKIP: join CA to any corner ch 1 sp, ch 4, (dc, ch 1) 3 times in same sp as joining, [*skip next sc, (dc in next st, ch 1, skip next st) across*, (dc, ch 1) 4 times in next sc] 3 times and * to * once more, join to 3rd ch of beg ch 4. Finish off CA

Round 10: Sc border: join CC to any corner ch 1 sp, ch 1 [3 sc in corner ch 1 sp, sc in each dc and sp across] 4 times, join to 1st sc. Finish off CA. Weave in all those ends.
